Mad Cow Matters ?

In time of the “ mad cow ”, it is necessary to listen to and understand those people sharply questioning the industrialization of the “ living ”; but also to probe into the way this problem and many others are viewed and experienced by the different actors involved, in a field in which the cultural aspects are as important as the scientific ones.
The mad cow and the Kreuzfeld Jakob diseases as well as the public crisis generated by their outburst sharply denounce the relationship between beasts and men both on a real and symbolic levels.
The film will not only show a state of affairs but will try and give the general public as well as the representatives of that industry “ food for thought ”. Different approaches will be proposed to better understand the psychological reactions of society at large and to sort out “ solutions ” for today or tomorrow.
