Literary News from Teheran

Iran, which frequently makes headlines due to its nuclear issues, is also experiencing a literary renaissance thanks to its young population striving to express themselves in various ways. One of these means is literature. This film offers a brief overview of the last twenty years of Persian letters. Through ten interviewees (writers, critics, translators, etc.), we explore the history of genres, the challenges faced, and the significant writers and novels that have shaped contemporary literature.
